About Our Practice:
Our operating team is composed of highly skilled surgeons, physician assistants, and perfusionists (members who operate the heart and lung machine).
We specialize in surgery of the heart, lungs, esophagus, and major arteries in the body. The surgical procedures we perform include:
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair and replacement (We have the most experience in mitral valve repair in the Dayton, Ohio area)
- Cox-Maze procedure for the treatment of atrial fibrillation
- Repair of acute aortic dissection
- Valve-sparing aortic root replacement
- High-risk cardiac surgery (We frequently accept patients from local hospitals who are deemed “too high-risk”)
- Surgical treatment of peripheral vascular disease (PVD)
- Carotid endarterectomy for the treatment of carotid stenosis
- Surgical ventricular restoration (DOR procedure) for selected cases of cardiomyopathy for the treatment of heart failure
